We offer the opportunity to gain experience with attorneys who serve in a wide variety of capacities, mainly in the family law and PIP departments.
This position requires someone with family law experience.
Job Description:
As part of our law team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive support to our attorneys in handling family law cases.
Occasional after-hours work may be required during periods of high activity.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of handling legal files from start to finish.
They should also be capable of working independently with meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Job Duties:
Answer phone calls and take messages Schedule meetings and appointments Prepare and file documents including but not limited to:
pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other legal documents Manage electronic case files and maintain them in an organized manner Drafting correspondence Assisting attorneys with case preparation, document management, and court filings Conducting legal research and compiling relevant information for cases Maintaining accurate and organized case files, both in physical and electronic formats Interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and courteous manner Managing attorney calendars and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks Providing general administrative support to the legal team as needed Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Docs.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are critical in this role.
Previous experience working as a legal assistant or paralegal in a family law setting.
In-depth knowledge of family law procedures, court rules, and legal terminology.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
